Artist Statement-With this work I decided to capture the spirituality of the Catholic Church and the emotion that people can feel while worshipping. Throughout time the Church has been an open place for people to worship at their lowest moments. The Church allows people to be vulnerable and free to convey their feelings through sacred prayer. The Church creates a place where people can express their spirituality and the deep emotion that comes only through worship.
